Scientist, SIMS | EAG Laboratories

EAG Laboratories is seeking a Scientist to join our SIMS group. This is a great opportunity to be trained and gain experience using Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry to conduct analytical testing of semiconductors and other materials.In this role, you will analyze and test new and existing materials to identify their properties and characteristics for the development or improvement of products. You will also:Work independently to perform the full range of analytical work, including complex tasks. Ensure instruments are working to their optimum performance and perform maintenance/optimization as necessary.Essential Job Functions:Apply standard and non-standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out relatively complex SIMS analytical work to determine the composition, properties, and/or structure of materials. Maintains specified records of test data.Prepare reports on analytical results for customers, including interpretation of results.Evaluate customer requests, determine testing requirements, and prepare instruments for analytical work.Work Schedule: Mon to Fri, 8am-5pm or 3pm-11pm
